Our risk mitigation programs for the armored car industry center around three separate, but inter-connected programs:
Risk assessment of an armored car company’s operations. This evaluation focuses on adherence to industry best-practices as well as the risk associated with the unique operations particular to the company. It requires an in-depth examination of the company and its street operations. In addition, the evaluation would be accompanied by recommendations to mitigate the identified risks.
- Assessment of compliance with an armored car company’s existing corporate policies. Typically, the assessment incorporates covert video-surveillance of street operations as part of the compliance review. The assessment can also provide another critical service; L&A can independently audit cash vaults to ensure correct balances and strict adherence to internal controls. We often provide this type of assessment for companies that already have a proven and aggressive risk mitigation program in place and would like to have an independent, outside evaluation of compliance with its policies.
- Consultation with armored car companies in the development of effective policies, operational procedures, and managerial strategies and tactics. Consultations of this nature are grounded in our extensive, multi-national experience in serving the armored car industry.
