D. Mark Lowers, CFE, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark is an international authority on risk management and its many component disciplines.  He is widely cited on risk management and security issues, and he has published numerous articles on those topics. 

Formerly, Mark was President and CEO of Amsec International, a global security firm based in Winchester, Virginia.  In two decades, Mark grew the business from a local security installer to an internationally recognized risk management company.

LaDawn Presgraves, Chief Financial Officer

LaDawn brings over 25 years of accounting and financial experience to the Lowers & Associates (L&A) team.  Her diverse background is a culmination of experience gained within the healthcare, manufacturing/remanufacturing, and building component/supply industries. 

LaDawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a master’s degree in Business Administration and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Vince Pascarella, Esq., SHRM-SCP, Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Vince is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Lowers Risk Group of companies (Lowers & Associates, Proforma Screening Solutions, Wholesale Screening Solutions). His diverse background includes executive leadership roles in legal, compliance, technology, sales, marketing, business development and operations. He has served as a Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Dulles Society for Human Resources Management (Dulles SHRM) since 2013, and served two terms as the co-chair of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) Best Practices Committee. Vince is a member of the Virginia and Colorado State Bars, the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Dulles SHRM, and the National Association of Professional Background Screeners. He is a subject matter expert and frequent presenter on human capital risk management topics.

Vince received a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the University of Colorado Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Long Island University. Vince is a licensed attorney and holds SHRM-SCP and FCRA Advanced certifications.

Brad Moody, Executive Vice President, Operations

Brad supports the delivery of compliance auditing, surveys, street operations consulting, cash vault audits, BCP, IT tabletop exercises, training, and other consulting services to CIT and financial institutions. An accomplished logistics professional with proven success in the financial industry, Brad has notable expertise in transaction services, armored transportation, vendor management, supply chain, proof operations, and team leadership. In his previous role at Bank of America, Brad successfully managed more than a dozen vendor relationships in the ground and air transportation of checks, cash, and mail. He also developed processes for field security intelligence to armored vendors to warn of potential threats, service impedances, and other security concerns.

Malcolm Blair, Managing Director, European Operations 

Malcolm heads the Lowers & Associates’ (L&A) London office. Leading a dedicated team of risk assessment experts, they serve the needs of L&A clients not only in the Lloyd’s and London insurance markets but also those of their clients’ customers operating across Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, and the Middle/Far East.

With 46 years of experience in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, Malcolm was an established underwriter of the cash-in-transit/armored car industry as well as a broker with the Halford Henry Montefiore & Co. at Lloyd’s of London.  Malcolm was the director of the AMSEC International London office for 11 years prior to joining L&A.

Neil Watson, Manager, European Operations 

Neil is a Manager within the Lowers & Associates’ (L&A) London office.  Working closely with L&A offices around the world, Neil facilitates the risk mitigation and loss adjustment requirements of L&A’s global client base. 

Neil has 28 years’ experience in the insurance industry which includes over 20 years working within the Fine Art, Jewellery and Specie (FAJS) sector.  Neil has previously worked for Marsh, WillisTowersWatson and most recently JLT.  During his career, he has also forged exceptionally strong relationships with both clients and their key insurers in the industry, both within London and Internationally. 

Keith Gray, Vice President, Client Relations

Keith is responsible for client relationships and operational management across various Lowers & Associates (L&A) service offerings. Keith has been with L&A for over 12 years and has worked closely with numerous companies in the insurance, cash-in-transit, financial institution, and other industries to assess their operations and security, reconcile vault balances, review loss claims, and alleviate risk. In his current role, Keith oversees program coordination, management of a nationwide team of industry professionals, investigation, and client communication regarding any findings or suggestions.

Keith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and has extensive accounting and management experience, having previously worked in public accounting, mortgage lending, and non-for-profit organizations. Keith is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).


BOARD MEMBERS:

Mark Stavish, Partner

Mark specializes in human resource issues, improving the security of people and operations.  He is president and general manager of a firm specializing in building productive workplaces.  Mark previously directed human resource activities in several Pepsi-Cola business units, then served as executive vice president at America Online during seven years of phenomenal growth.
