D. Mark Lowers, CFE, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark is an international authority on risk management and its many component disciplines. He is widely cited on risk management and security issues, and he has published numerous articles on those topics. He is a certified fraud examiner and has over 38 years of experience administering risk management functions including risk assessment, risk mitigation techniques, audits, and compliance programs. Mark serves on several boards and is the current President of the SCTA (Secure Cash & Transport Association).

Prior to launching Lowers & Associates, Mark was President and CEO of Amsec International, a global security firm based in Winchester, Virginia. In two decades, Mark grew the business from a local security installer to an internationally recognized risk management company.

Jon D. Groussman, President - Lowers & Associates Consulting

With over 2 decades of experience, Jon is a recognized authority on corporate security management and leads Lowers Risk Group’s consulting practice to provide a broad range of crime-related consulting, expert witness, and litigation support services for companies and their security and risk management leaders, and legal counsel.

LaDawn Presgraves, Executive Vice President, TPA Services & Audit

LaDawn brings over 30 years of accounting and financial experience to the Lowers & Associates (L&A) team. Her diverse background is a culmination of experience gained within the healthcare, manufacturing/remanufacturing, and building component/supply industries.

LaDawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a master’s degree in Business Administration and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Brad Moody, Executive Vice President, Operations

Brad is an accomplished risk management professional with proven expertise in, security operations; healthcare security and safety; transportation; fraud investigations; vendor management; supply chain; distribution and logistics; and security team management. He has been consistently recognized throughout his career for strong client interface skills, strategic planning, and international outsourcing.

Service capabilities include compliance auditing, risk surveys, cyber penetration and vulnerability assessments, fraud investigations, street inspections, security compliance, development of business continuity plans, disaster recovery tabletop exercises, training, and related risk advisory services. He is currently a certified Fraud Examiner, and a certified Forensic Investigator.

Keith Gray, Vice President, Client Relations 

Keith is responsible for client relationships and operational management across various Lowers & Associates (L&A) service offerings. Keith has been with L&A for over 14 years and has worked closely with numerous companies in the insurance, cash-in-transit, financial institution, and other industries to assess their operations and security, reconcile vault balances, review loss claims, and alleviate risk. In his current role, Keith oversees program coordination, management of a nationwide team of industry professionals, investigation, and client communication regarding any findings or suggestions.

Keith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and has extensive accounting and management experience, having previously worked in public accounting, mortgage lending, and not-for-profit organizations. Keith is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

Neil Watson, Director, Global Operations

Neil is a Manager within the Lowers & Associates’ (L&A) London office. Working closely with L&A offices around the world, Neil facilitates the risk mitigation and loss adjustment requirements of L&A’s global client base.

Neil has 30+ years’ experience in the insurance industry which includes over 20 years working within the Fine Art, Jewelry and Specie (FAJS) sector. Neil previously worked for Marsh, WillisTowersWatson and JLT. During his career, he has forged exceptionally strong relationships with both clients and their key insurers in the industry, within London and International markets.

Mike Hyman, Director, US Operations

Mike plans, develops, and provides oversight of employees, consultants, and independent contractors directly involved with physical security within Lowers & Associates’ (L&A) healthcare program, pawnbroker and check casher program, the Cash-in-Transit (CIT) industry, security consulting, and ad-hoc types of related programs. His responsibilities focus heavily upon reviewing and developing program related report materials associated with, but not limited to, the armored carrier, pawnbroker and check casher industries, providing expertise support to field employees, consultants, and independent contractors with the goal of eliminating waste in the final product and increasing efficiencies on a go-forward basis. Mike also provides broad supervisory oversight for L&A’s in-house reporting and response management system. In addition to overseeing the aforementioned areas, Mike is routinely “in the field” performing audit and compliance services.
